Job summary

Columbia Threadneedle Investments seeks a senior privacy professional to lead non-U.S. data protection and privacy operations under the Global Privacy Office.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, partner with regional risk liaisons, and maintain privacy program alignment with the Ameriprise global framework across EMEA and APAC. Responsibilities include managing DSARs and DPIAs, updating privacy notices, and preparing risk and compliance reports.

Qualifications

• Expertise with the General Data Protection Regulation, EU AI Act, as well as other global privacy laws, regulations, and industry guidelines.
• Ability to analyse legislative requirements and relate these to organisational practices and solutions.
• Experience managing complex projects with cross-functional, global teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to adapt to different audiences and leadership styles.
• Aptitude for continuous learning and evolving technology.

Responsibilities

• Act as Privacy Office’s liaison to non-U.S. CTI business and partner with Privacy Risk Liaisons to drive compliance.
• Maintain global CTI privacy program aligned with regulatory changes in EMEA and APAC.
• Oversee DSARs, DPIAs and privacy activities with internal and external teams.
• Prepare privacy risk and compliance reports and data analytics as needed.
• Interface with data subjects regarding requests to exercise rights.
