Job summary

Columbia Threadneedle Investments is seeking a Global Privacy Officer to lead data protection for non-U.S. operations within the Ameriprise framework.

You’ll partner with the Global Privacy Office and cross-functional teams to implement and refine privacy programs. You will guide regulatory readiness across EMEA and APAC, manage DSAR processes, data notices, and privacy risk reporting, while mentoring privacy staff and promoting a culture of compliance.

Qualifications

• Expertise with GDPR and global privacy laws across EMEA/APAC.
• Ability to analyse regulatory requirements and map to practices.
• Strong collaboration in global teams and independent accountability.
• Experience in managing complex privacy projects.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Act as Privacy Office liaison to non-U.S. CTI business.
• Maintain global CTI privacy program in line with policy.
• Collaborate with Information Security and Compliance on program delivery.
• Monitor regulatory changes in EMEA and APAC.
• Oversee DSAR processes and privacy data notices.
• Prepare privacy risk and compliance reports.
• Contribute to privacy training and awareness.
• Interface with data subjects to exercise rights.
• Provide leadership to privacy staff.
