Job summary

PARKINSON GRAY ASSOCIATES LTD in Warrington is looking for an Intermediate Electrical Designer to develop electrical building services across diverse projects. You’ll coordinate with mechanical, public health and BIM teams, from concept to detailed design.

You’ll work with Revit for BIM coordination, contribute to energy-efficient and low-carbon solutions, and operate in a hybrid setup from the Warrington office. This role offers exposure to a broad engineering consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK Building Services consultancy is expected.
• Experience designing electrical systems for commercial, residential, retail, industrial or logistics buildings.
• Proficiency in LV distribution, lighting and small power design.
• Experience producing electrical calculations, specifications and coordinated design information.
• Knowledge of Revit and BIM-led design environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical building services designs across a range of projects.
• Take ownership of defined electrical packages from concept through to detailed design.
• Produce technical information and related coordination for project teams.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Public Health, Sustainability and BIM engineers.
• Review designs to meet energy-efficient and low-carbon targets.
