Turner Property Recruitment are assisting in finding an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Cambridge. The role offers hybrid working and exposure to a broad range of design projects across sectors.

You will deliver electrical design across RIBA stages, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and use CAD and Revit for building services design while emphasising energy efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience in electrical design within consultancy or contractor environment.
• Working towards chartered status or keen to progress.
• Proficient in CAD and ideally Revit.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Organised, motivated and keen to develop.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of electrical design across all RIBA stages.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary design team on new build and refurbishment projects.
• Design building services systems using CAD and BIM tools including Revit.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and contractors.
• Contribute to innovative and sustainable design solutions.
• Advise on energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
