The Midcounties Co-operative is seeking an Education and Quality Manager to lead the Educational Excellence Team, coach nurseries, and drive EYFS standards. Based from London nurseries with one day at home, the role emphasizes safeguarding, Ofsted readiness, and staff development across multiple sites.

You will partner with regulatory, operational teams and families to deliver high-quality learning environments, continuous improvement, and consistent, excellent outcomes for children.

Formación

• EYFS knowledge of learning and welfare requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading/supporting teams and delivering high quality training.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and child protection procedures.
• Experience supporting multiple nurseries to evaluate and raise quality.
• Portfolio of continuous professional development.

Responsabilidades

• Coach and mentor Nursery Managers to improve provision and outcomes.
• Lead structured visits to ensure high standards and bring pedagogy to life.
• Promote brand values and involve families in continuous improvement.
• Deliver targeted coaching aligned with quality improvement plans and Ofsted recommendations.
• Deliver training packages and role-model expected EYFS standards.
• Support Ofsted readiness with monitoring visits and action plans.
• Encourage self-evaluation and development plans across nurseries.
• Safeguard statutory compliance within EYFS and Ofsted regulations.
