Job summary

VodafoneThree in Newbury is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead end-to-end design for major network and IT initiatives. You will guide pre-project activities, collaborate with architects and technical specialists, and translate business needs into scalable, secure solutions.

You will produce and maintain key artefacts (TRS, HLSD) and support multi-domain teams while driving governance and architectural excellence across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in end-to-end solution architecture within telecoms or large-scale technology environments.
• Ability to produce, review, and assure TRS and HLSD documentation.
• Strong understanding of network and IT architecture principles, governance and systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical solution design for major network and technology initiatives.
• Guide pre-project activities including bids and feasibility assessments.
• Collaborate with architects and specialists to secure governance approvals.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, operational architectures.
• Oversee production and maintenance of key artefacts like TRS and HLSD.
• Support domain teams in creating detailed designs with an end-to-end view.
• Identify risks, evaluate options and resolve issues across the lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions meet security, regulatory and architectural standards.
• Foster cross-team collaboration to achieve aligned outcomes and improvements.
