Job summary

EPAM Systems in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Client Engagement Lead (Director level) to own CPG/Retail client engagements and shape data and AI strategies for transformative outcomes. You will collaborate with senior leaders to drive growth, governance, and strategic partnerships across global brands.

The role requires deep industry expertise, strong commercial sense, and fluency in data analytics and AI to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Experience leading strategic client engagements in consulting, professional services, or enterprise environments.
• Extensive CPG/Retail industry knowledge with practical application.
• Ability to influence C-level stakeholders and communicate business value clearly.
• Experience developing and presenting commercially focused proposals for large-scale engagements.
• Working knowledge of modern data technologies, ML, analytics, and AI.
• Strong leadership for cross-functional teams and delivery excellence.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and Western Europe as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow key client relationships with C-level and senior sponsors.
• Develop and steer data & AI strategies for industry challenges (supply chain, personalization, forecasting).
• Manage engagements from vision to delivery, ensuring on-time outcomes.
• Identify opportunities, lead presales, and shape large-scale proposals.
• Govern scope, risks, and client expectations across multiple accounts.
• Mentor cross-functional teams to maintain delivery excellence.
• Represent EPAM as a thought leader at workshops and conferences.
• Ensure governance, AI integration, and analytics best practices across solutions.
• Monitor industry trends and align solutions with market developments.
• Collaborate with business development on go-to-market for the client portfolio.
