Job summary

This hybrid role offers a daily rate of £175–£200 and aims to deliver clear, user-focused messaging across websites and social channels.

You will collaborate with communications, policy and subject matter experts to improve online user experience, maintain digital channels, ensure accuracy, and advocate for accessibility

Qualifications

• Strong editorial skills with ability to edit and publish accessible content.
• Experience creating web content for online audiences.
• Familiar with content management systems and web publishing processes.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and user-centred content design.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and publish high-quality content for online audiences.
• Support delivery of digital content across environmental, social and public-facing programmes.
• Collaborate with communications colleagues and subject-matter experts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide specialist digital communications advice to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Apply content design principles to improve accessibility and effectiveness of online content.
• Coordinate day-to-day publishing and maintain digital channels.
