Watson‑Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, part of Spirax Group, is seeking a Design Engineer in the UK to own engineering solutions across the product lifecycle. You will work on mechanical, electrical, or electro‑mechanical systems, collaborating with multi‑discipline teams to deliver robust, manufacturable designs.

You will support engineering changes, document and report findings, and contribute to continuous improvement across global product portfolios, while aligning with ISO 9001 and

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical, electrical, or electro‑mechanical systems.
• Exposure to engineering change processes (ECR/ECO).
• Experience with structured problem‑solving methods (RCA, FMEA, PFMEA).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, moulding, assembly, electrical integration).
• Exposure to testing, validation, or compliance activities.

Responsabilités

• Deliver defined work packages within technical projects.
• Deliver engineering changes in line with change control and ISO 9001.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation and updates.
• Contribute to concept generation and design development.
• Support mechanical, electrical, or electro‑mechanical systems development and integration.
• Support prototype builds and verification/testing activities.
• Interpret test data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Work with production and supply teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Participate in RCA and PFMEA risk assessments.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Adhere to health and safety practices.
• Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Production and Customer Support.
