Job summary

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, part of Spirax Group, is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our on-site team at Cardrew Industrial Estate. You will deliver electronics schematics, PCB designs and interface with mechanical design and manufacturing to support our range of peristaltic pumps and fluid path technologies.

The role emphasizes design for manufacture and EMC compliance, collaboration with global partners, and continuous improvement in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Electronics/Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in electronics engineering at graduate level
• Concept to production: concept,circuit, PCB, verification and interface to manufacturing
• Digital electronics: embedded microprocessors and interfaces (I2C, SPI, USB, LVDS)
• Analogue electronics: real world signal interfacing and protection

Responsibilities

• Deliver electronics schematics and PCB designs for a wide range of products
• Use CAE/simulation tools to produce robust, manufacturable designs
• Investigate issues with products with software and project partners
• Interface PCBs with enclosures and mechanical parts using 3D CAD
• Produce documentation for production and testing
• Support development electronics strategies and continuous improvement

Education

Honours Bachelor degree in Electronics/Engineering

Experience of electronics engineering at graduate level

Product concept, circuit definition, PCB layout, verification/test

Digital electronics: embedded microprocessors, I2C, SPI, USB, LVDS

Analogue electronics: real world signal interfacing
