Job summary

Harnham - Data and Analytics Recruitment is seeking a Data Scientist in Berkshire for a hybrid role, 3-4 days in the office, £50,000–£60,000 per year. The role focuses on building data foundations, improving quality, and delivering AI and predictive analytics to support operational and commercial decisions.

You will work in a small team, shaping data strategy, collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to a cloud-based platform while advancing analytics, ML and forecasting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience with data quality improvement and master data challenges.
• Experience building analytical, forecasting or ML models.
• Experience developing reporting dashboards in Power BI.
• Snowflake exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, reconcile and standardise data from multiple sources.
• Develop scalable data models for reporting, analytics and ML initiatives.
• Perform entity resolution and fuzzy matching to improve data accuracy.
• Build dashboards and reporting solutions for business stakeholders.
• Support AI-driven document processing and automation projects.
• Develop forecasting and predictive analytics to support planning.
• Work with complex datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to a modern cloud-based data platform and data governance.
