Job summary

Clara Rose Consultancy Ltd is seeking a Legal Support Officer in Manchester for a maternity cover contract. The role blends data protection, legal administration and property-related tasks within a supportive in-house legal team.

Hybrid working with 2 days from home is offered, and a salary up to £35,000 depending on experience. The successful candidate will handle DSARs, data breaches, records management and policy development while supporting property transactions and day-to-day legal

Qualifications

Experience in a legal, compliance or professional services environment.
Good understanding of data protection legislation and principles.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
Experience with property law advantageous.

Responsibilities

Data Protection & Compliance: support data protection compliance activities, DSARs, data breaches, records management, routine enquiries, policies and minutes.
Legal & Property Support: manage a small caseload, assist with residential tenancy and licence matters, support property transactions and post-completion processes.
Legal Operations & Administration: create and maintain case records, arrange meetings, coordinate diaries, prepare documents for signature, assist with reporting and governance projects.
