Job summary

DCV Technologies in London is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex data platform and analytics programmes on a 6-month contract with extension possibility. You will combine technical excellence with programme execution, coordinating with Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Platform and business teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Engineering Manager background in data engineering or analytics platforms.
• Hands-on with Snowflake, dbt, GitHub, CI/CD and Airflow.
• Experience with modern data stack, ETL pipelines and cloud data platforms.
• Agile delivery and management of multiple technical workstreams.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of data engineering and analytics platform programmes, managing roadmaps, dependencies, risks and delivery plans.
• Lead technical delivery across Snowflake data warehousing, dbt pipelines, Airflow and GitHub-based workflows.
• Drive Snowflake architecture, performance and cost optimisation, plus dbt testing, documentation and deployment governance.
• Define and enforce SDLC, CI/CD, PRs, code reviews, branching and release management best practice.
• Manage data quality, security, scalability, governance and compliance risks.
• Facilitate technical design discussions and communicate with engineering teams and senior stakeholders.
