Job summary

Amtis Professional Ltd is seeking a Data Migration Analyst in the West Midlands on a hybrid basis. The role supports a programme of complex data migration and integration activities with responsibilities spanning end-to-end data movement and quality validation.

You will analyse source data, define mappings, and develop migration test plans while working closely with business users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure successful execution and governance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Data Migration or Data Integration roles.
Strong SQL skills and data transformation knowledge.
Experience with complex system integration or migration projects.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end data migration from legacy to new environments.
Analyse source-system data and identify quality issues.
Define and document mappings between legacy and target systems.
Extract, transform and load data per migration requirements.
Translate business needs into technical data mappings and rules.
Develop and execute migration test plans and scripts.
Reconcile migrated data for completeness and accuracy.
Troubleshoot migration issues and support post-migration activity.
Maintain documentation of mappings, transformations and quality checks.
Collaborate with business users, technical teams, vendors and stakeholders.
