This role sits within Citi's data governance function in Belfast, working with business and technology partners. The ideal candidate will oversee data-related issues, coordinate with risk and controls teams, and help ensure consistent treatment of findings and corrective actions

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of data governance, data management, or related experience.
• Strong project management skills to coordinate across stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Clear, confident communication with colleagues at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and analyze data-related issues, track ownership and deadlines with metrics.
• Contribute inputs to risk and controls materials in coordination with the teams.
• Serve as point of contact on data risk topics with 2nd/3rd line of defense teams.
• Provide regional expertise on data control framework, monitoring and self-assessment processes.
• Support enterprise data governance strategy rollout and taxonomy changes.
• Prepare metrics for stakeholders including governance forums and regulators.
• Suggest recommendations shaping enterprise-wide data governance policies.
