Job summary

RealityMine is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain data pipelines, working with SQL, Python and cloud-based ETL processes. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers in a hybrid Manchester office, with on-call duties after onboarding and opportunities to grow in a data-focused environment.

The role emphasizes real-time and batch data processing, scalable architectures, and code reviews, paired mentoring, and continuous improvement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of SQL and Python development experience as a Data Engineer.
• Experience building real-time and batch ETL pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain real-time and batch ETL jobs.
• Improve pipeline design, architecture and tooling.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and scalability.
• Contribute to documentation of datasets and processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and operations teams.
• Join the on-call rotation after settling in.
