Nextech in Milton Keynes is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines powering analytics, reporting and machine learning. You will design scalable ETL/ELT processes, develop cloud data warehouses, and collaborate with data scientists and product teams.

The role requires strong Python and SQL, production data-pipeline experience, and hands-on cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP). The package includes a competitive salary, bonus potential, pension, private healthcare, and a hybrid

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• At least a BSc degree or equivalent.
• Experience building data pipelines in production.
• Hands-on experience with a cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery or Synapse).
• Understanding of data modelling and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and optimising scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Developing and maintaining data warehouses and lakes in the cloud.
• Ensuring data quality, reliability and security across the platform.
• Working with Data Scientists, Analysts and Product teams to deliver usable datasets.
• Automating workflows and improving performance and cost efficiency.
• Contributing to best practice, code reviews and documentation.
