Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Data Engineer in Leeds with hybrid working options. You will own the design, build, and maintenance of modern data pipelines and scalable data platforms to support analytics and AI initiatives.

The role requires strong Python and SQL skills, experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), and a hands-on approach to ETL/ELT development. Collaboration with Analytics and Data Science teams is key.

Qualifications

• Strong capability in Python development.
• Advanced SQL skills and data modeling experience.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.
• ETL/ELT development and data pipeline design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Develop and optimise data models for analytics and reporting.
• Build solutions within cloud platforms and Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with Analytics and Data Science teams.
• Support AI initiatives via robust data foundations.
• Develop API integrations and automated data ingestion processes.
• Manage data engineering projects end-to-end.
• Define data engineering standards and best practices.
