Bupa in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Counsellor/Psychotherapist to deliver high-quality counselling across short to long-term needs. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, liaising with internal and external services to ensure safe, evidence-based care.

The role supports hybrid working, with sessions across weekdays and a focus on patient outcomes, clinical governance, and safeguarding. Accreditation and 3+ years post-qualification experience are required.

Qualifications

• Accredited counsellor/psychotherapist with recognised registrations.
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification counselling experience.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality counselling within NHS/corporate settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality counselling or brief interventions with excellent outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations to guide interventions.
• Offer multiple service delivery models including face-to-face sessions.
• Follow case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads.
• Work within sessional limits based on client benefits.
• Offer signposting or onward referrals as needed.
• Provide wellbeing support and coaching as required.
• Conduct assessments and referrals, when appropriate.
• Deliver group psychoeducation and mental health awareness sessions.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and policies.
• Attend regular supervision and team meetings.
• Collaborate to improve client and employee experiences.
