Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer for a 12-month FTC hybrid role in South London. You will own vulnerability management, drive security improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen the organisation's security posture around ransomware resilience, backup segmentation, and AI security.

The role covers Microsoft Defender, Entra ID/AD, Conditional Access, SIEM, and data security governance, with opportunities to automate and improve

Qualifications

Experience in cyber security engineering or operations.
Strong grounding in vulnerability management, incident response, and security operations.
Familiarity with Microsoft Defender and identity/security controls.
Ability to write or work with SIEM queries (KQL desirable).

Responsibilities

Own vulnerability management activities and remediation planning.
Lead security incident triage, investigation and response.
Contribute to ransomware resilience, backup segmentation and security maturity initiatives.
Implement and improve security controls across Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, and related services.
Work on automation, ServiceNow integrations and data-security governance.
