Job summary

Bupa is hiring a Cyber Security Engineer to shape, implement and uphold our enterprise security framework. You’ll work in the Security Engineering team to maintain monitoring, incident response, and secure design across on‑premise and cloud environments.

The role offers hybrid working with locations including Angel Court, Staines and Manchester. You’ll configure security tooling, write playbooks and policies, lead tests of hardware and software, and collaborate with product teams to hit security

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to partner with IT and business stakeholders at all levels.
• Diverse IT background across BAU support and projects (End-User Computing, Hosting, Networks).
• Cloud tech proficiency (Azure, AWS, GCP) is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and manage security hardware and software across On Premise & Cloud/SAAS solutions.
• Own allocated security tools and services; ensure compliance with standards.
• Create playbooks, policies, and rulesets; tune tools and allow-lists for maturity.
