Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Cyber Security professional to help deliver security operations and monitoring across the Trust’s systems and infrastructure. The role reports to the Cyber Security Team Lead and supports ensuring secure, compliant and resilient services.

The position is a hybrid role with remote work flexibility and occasional travel to Leeds sites, offering opportunities to learn and grow within a collaborative, values-driven team dedicated to patient safety

Qualifications

• Experience in large, complex virtualised computing environments.
• Practical knowledge of data protection legislation and codes.
• Knowledge of Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF).
• Experience handling major virus/malware incidents in large networks.
• Experience reviewing procedures to improve hardware and network security resilience.
• In-depth knowledge of antivirus and vulnerability management products.
• Strong information risk analysis and management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex security issues to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities in a complex environment.
