Job summary

SSE plc is recruiting a Cyber Security Regulatory Compliance Lead to steer the organisation’s approach to NIS compliance and the cyber security second line of defence. You will drive governance, risk assessment and assurance across IT/OT environments, coordinating with business units and regulatory bodies.

You will lead improvements, ensuring robust controls and timely submissions, while collaborating with leadership to align cyber risk with SSE’s strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Extensive cyber security experience across IT and OT environments.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as NIS and cyber security assurance in the 2nd line.
• Proven ability to interact with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead SSE’s approach to cyber security regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous control improvements across priority and high risk areas.
• Coordinate submissions to regulatory bodies and manage assurance providers.
• Develop and manage assurance processes for the cyber security second line of defence.
