Job summary

SSE is seeking a senior cyber security compliance leader to steer the company’s NIS regulatory obligations and second line of defence assurance. You will shape governance, risk assessment, and improvement plans across multiple business units to meet stringent regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Excellent cyber security experience with exposure to IT and OT environments and in-depth knowledge of cyber regulation such as NIS and cybersecurity assurance in the 2nd line.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Group leadership of NIS compliance.
• Support governance and risk management for NIS Regulations across in-scope units.
• Coordinate and submit annual regulatory submissions, working with the Group.
• Develop and manage assurance processes for cyber security second line of defence.
• Provide leadership to drive improvements across SSE from assurance to operations and services.
