Hybrid - Customs Clerk

The Role:

As a Customs Clerk, you'll become an integral part of a close-knit team that supports the daily movement of goods across borders. This role is vital to keeping operations compliant and efficient, ensuring all customs documentation is handled accurately and promptly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations for road freight shipments

  • Ensure full compliance with current UK customs regulations

  • Liaise effectively with HMRC, port systems, and other relevant authorities

  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems

  • Keep up to date with evolving customs procedures and legislation



What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in customs clearance

  • Strong knowledge of road freight logistics

  • Hands-on experience with systems such as Sequoia, CDS, or Destin8

  • In-depth understanding of UK import/export regulations and required documentation

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Confident communicator and strong team collaborator
