Job summary

Co-op Wholesale in Scunthorpe is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to support Helpdesk and Reception, logging and investigating partner and consumer queries by phone or email. Initially office-based for 3 months, then hybrid with 3 days work-from-home weekly. You may work Saturdays on a rota basis.

The role offers an annual salary of £25,430 with strong benefits and a focus on customer support across partners and consumers.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to manage interactions via telephone and email.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good general IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support the team and assist with queries via telephone or email
• Maintain good relationships with internal and external partners, always providing a great service
• Make sure all queries and complaints are logged and investigated promptly
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain our 97% average call pick-up rate
• Work alongside partners such as DHL to reach resolutions to queries raised
• Deliver excellent customer service to our Co-op Wholesale partners, making sure their needs are consistently met
