Law Staff Legal Recruitment's client is seeking a Crime Solicitor to join their dynamic team in the United Kingdom. The role offers hybrid working, a generous holiday entitlement, and a range of benefits.

You will manage a varied criminal caseload, provide advocacy in Magistrates' Court, and work with clients through the criminal justice process. The ideal candidate is a Qualified Solicitor with 1–3 years' PQE in criminal law, with strong advocacy and case management skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 1–3 years' PQE in criminal law.
• Strong knowledge of criminal law procedures and regulations.
• Experience independently managing a varied criminal caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of criminal matters, including theft, assault, drug offences, and other criminal offences.
• Conduct legal research, analyse case law, and prepare legal arguments to support clients' cases.
• Provide clear and effective legal advice to clients throughout the criminal justice process.
• Represent clients in Magistrates' Court proceedings and advocate effectively on their behalf.
• Prepare and present cases, with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Liaise with clients, barristers, and other professionals to ensure effective case management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and legal documentation.
