Job summary

VWFS is seeking two Credit Assessment Advisors in Milton Keynes to underwrite finance proposals up to £250,000 and handle escalations in underwriting matters. The role supports excellent customer service within the Retailer Network and involves taking ownership of non-auto-approved credit decisions.

Hybrid working with 60% in the Milton Keynes office is required; 35 hours per week, with fixed-term until Oct 2027 or permanent roles available. Closing date 02/11/2026.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite finance proposals up to £250,000 in a compliant, responsible manner.
• Refer proposals over £250,000 to senior staff with a recommended approval.
• Own Retail lending credit decisions not auto-approved, applying responsible lending and Consumer Duty within service levels.
• Develop new processes to meet changing business needs while maintaining key controls.
• Resolve complex cases with support from managers and senior advisers.
