Job summary

Nub News is seeking an experienced Credit Controller in South Leicestershire with hybrid working options. You will own a portfolio of customer accounts, maximise cash collection and support broader Accounts Receivable duties within a busy finance team.

Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will manage dunning, credit limits, and month-end reporting while liaising with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure timely payments.

Qualifications

• Previous credit control experience.
• Confident and professional telephone manner.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience working with an ERP/accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Chase outstanding debt to agreed payment terms.
• Build relationships to maximise cash collection and reduce aged debt.
• Manage the credit control and dunning process.
• Monitor credit limits and assess customer risk.
• Prepare month-end reporting including aged debt analysis.
• Allocate payments and maintain cash books accurately.
