Job summary

Thrings, a leading Swindon-based law firm, is seeking a Credit Control Administrator to join the Finance team. Based in our Swindon office, you will help maintain accurate customer accounts and support timely payments, contributing to smooth financial operations.

You will work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, handling queries, processing vendor forms, and supporting fee earners with billing matters.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance/office environment is essential or highly regarded.
• Credit Control experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong administration experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of accounts and financial processes.
• Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Clear, concise communication with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

• Answer the Credit Control telephone line and monitor the mailbox.
• Manage instalment plans and ensure timely payments.
• Chase small value debts and process card payments per policy.
• Run monthly reports and distribute to stakeholders.
• Complete new vendor forms and assist with bill queries.
