Job summary

TLT is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join our Retail Mortgage Services team at the Bristol Head Office. You will manage your own conveyancing caseload in a busy, supportive environment, with hybrid working options discussed at interview.

The role requires conveyancing expertise across title checks and the ability to draft detailed client advice. You will communicate clearly with clients, assist senior colleagues, and keep abreast of regulatory changes that affect matters.

Qualifications

• Conveyancing experience is essential.
• Experience with title checks for freehold, leasehold and shared ownership.
• Drafting detailed advice and proposed solutions for clients.
• Empathy and clear telephone communication with clients.
• Strong numeracy and high spelling/grammar standards.
• Proactive mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of conveyancing files.
• Ensure professional telephone handling and accurate notes.
• Regularly update clients and asset managers on progress.
• Join management on client visits and contribute to meetings/trainings.
• Make decisions on technical legal aspects and mentor juniors as needed.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and share knowledge with the team.
