Job summary

Pernod Ricard is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer to drive Capital Expenditure projects and continuous improvement in our Dumbarton site. You will lead instrumentation and control system initiatives, apply Industry 4.0 concepts, and collaborate with maintenance and operations to enhance efficiency.

The role requires strong project management, PLC expertise (Rockwell/Siemens), and a proactive approach to safety and compliance within a global spirits leader.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical, electronic, software or related engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in project management and working with contractors/internal teams.
• Experience in control system design, procurement, installation and commissioning, including hazardous area design.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of CAPEX and continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations.
• Manage activities from concept and funding approval through to commissioning and handover.
• Provide technical guidance on instrumentation and control systems to improve operational effectiveness.
