Job summary

R1 Construction is seeking an experienced Project/Contracts Manager to join our growing team in a hybrid role between office and site, including site visits and client progress meetings.

You will assist in delivering projects from the head office, assign tasks to contractors, liaise with the design team, lead internal meetings, oversee budgets and develop construction programmes. A proactive leader with strong problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in project/contracts management in construction.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand building regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and forward-thinking mindset.
• Proven leadership of a divisional team and delegation of duties.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to contractors and subcontractors and liaise with the design team.
• Head internal meetings with delivery and site teams.
• Oversee budget spends and monitor construction programmes and timescales.
• Carry out H&S and quality reports and attend client progress meetings.
