Job summary

Costain is seeking an experienced planner to join the Northumbrian Water Living Water Enterprise programme. The role involves monitoring delivery programmes across site work in County Durham, updating contractual submissions and ensuring NEC-aligned, fully linked master schedules across design, procurement, construction, installation and handover.

The position is permanent and hybrid, with a requirement for a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the site delivery programme across multiple live sites in County Durham.
• Update contractual submissions and ensure NEC-aligned baselines.
• Display and analyse the critical path to advise the project team and client.
• Produce and maintain baselines and run the change control process.
• Update schedules to reflect progress, change events, risk and opportunity.
• Support the site delivery team with short-term lookahead programmes.
