The Old Vic is seeking a Community Manager to lead and develop our community projects, including Theatre Club, Community Choir, OV Community Network and the intergenerational 12 Choirs. You will work with the Education and Community Director to shape future engagement in our Backstage Building and ensure delivery with the Education and Community Coordinator.

We are looking for someone with significant experience in community theatre, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage budgets

Qualificações

• Significant experience facilitating and delivering high-quality community theatre projects or similar.
• Significant experience in design and delivery of large-scale community theatre projects or similar.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Budgetary management experience up to £50K–£100K.
• Robust understanding of best practice and new developments in community arts.
• Experience with evaluation design, analysis and reporting; writing copy for content/marketing materials.
• Experience of working within a theatre building or arts organisation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage The Old Vic's community projects: Theatre Club, Community Choir, OV Community Network, and intergenerational 12 Choirs.
• Collaborate with Education and Community Director to develop future strategic community engagement and leverage opportunities in the Backstage Building.
• Work closely with Education and Community Coordinator to deliver projects and report on progress.
