Job summary

Staffordshire County Council is inviting applications for a Commissioning Support Officer to help support the placement service with administration, finance, contracts and data analysis. The role involves working with the Finance & Contracts Monitoring Officer and liaising with external agencies to provide timely performance information.

The post offers hybrid/remote working with at least two office days per week, and a fixed two-year tenure.

Responsibilities

• Use, maintain and monitor SCC ICT packages for data input and retrieval.
• Assist with commissioning budgets, including raising invoices and payments via Finance systems.
• Assist with development of publicity and other information for commissioned services.
• Produce high-quality documents and spreadsheets; presentations.
• Establish and maintain filing and information systems and databases.
• Organise events for managers, including room bookings and attendance databases.
• Undertake research and plan engagement to support new ways of working.
• Undertake other duties as required by management.
