Job summary

North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised team player to support the General Practice, Pharmacy and Optometry teams in delivering services that make a positive difference to patient care.

The post is 22.5 hours per week and will support both the General Practice and Pharmacy and Optometry teams. The base location is Stella House, with hybrid working and travel across the ICB as required.

Qualifications

• First degree of professional qualification or equivalent and relevant experience

Responsibilities

• The role will support the sector team in contracting and commissioning deliveries.
• Assist planning, delivery, and monitoring of a programme linking with sector colleagues.
• Support wider portfolio of work across the sector, including leading some contracts with providers.
• Provide written reports and presentations to internal and external groups.
• Manage a portfolio of contracts within the allocated area.
• Operate within the policies set by the ICB.
