Job summary

Morgan McKinley (South West) is seeking a Finance Analyst to join its Commercial Finance team. The role focuses on turning data into insight, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and delivering management information that informs commercial decisions.

You'll work with Finance Business Partners to analyse information from multiple sources, build reports and visualisations, and develop a deeper understanding of performance trends within a professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel and analytical skills are essential, with numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to pursue ACCA, AAT or equivalent finance qualifications.
• Interest in SQL, databases and AI-enabled tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial information from multiple sources to identify trends and insights.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and management information production.
• Contribute to client reporting and ensure analyses are accurate and timely.
• Create clear, engaging reports and visualisations to tell the story behind the numbers.
