Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Commercial Administrator to join our Quantity Surveying Team in Reading. You will support the administration of major projects, process cashflow forecasts, and ensure timely payments across delivery areas.

The role involves liaising with Senior Staff and maintaining contract compliance using CEMAR and SAP systems. The position is hybrid, offering 36 hours per week, with a competitive salary and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Practical work experience in a commercial or contracting environment.
• A Level Maths or equivalent qualification required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working with data and learning systems.
• Good customer service awareness and communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and support business processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Administration of Major Projects and Programmes Contracts.
• Provide support on Contract Activities with guidance from Senior Staff for assigned Areas.
• Compile and submit Cashflow Forecasts for assigned Areas.
• Support Contract and Commercial Compliance Reviews including assurance of CEMAR and SAP Systems.
• Raise and track POs and payments to ensure they are made on time and in accordance with the Contract for your Delivery Area.
• Highlight potential risk or quality issues with Team commercial activities.
• Support the production of the Monthly Commercial Performance Reports.
