Hybrid Cloud Technical Specialist (Azure / M365)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Hybrid Cloud Technical Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design and deployment of hybrid cloud infrastructure projects. This role requires a generalist understanding of Cloud (Azure / M365) as well as on-premise infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities and Skills:

1. Planning and Implementation:
   1. Design and execution of hybrid cloud infrastructure projects in alignment with industry best practices.
   2. Facilitate architecture discussions and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional and global teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
   3. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, offer technical insights, and communicate architectural solutions clearly and effectively.
   4. Proven experience in designing and deploying hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions creating HLD, LLD and standards for operational teams to align to.
   5. Transition of new solutions and technologies into the operations teams for BAU management.
2. Infrastructure Expertise:
   1. Design and deploy Hybrid cloud solutions using a mixture of on-premise and cloud technologies.
   2. Azure - Azure AD, AD Connect, Enterprise and App Registrations, Conditional access Policies, Landing zones, Subscriptions, Management Groups, Policies, Virtual machines, Storage Accounts (Blob, Files), SQL PaaS, PIM.
   3. Microsoft 365 - Licensing E3/5, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, Security and compliance (Purview).
   4. On-premise - Microsoft Server - AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO, Virtualization -VMware/Nutanix, Backup Systems (Commvault), MS SQL, SolarWinds.
   5. Passion for scripting, automation.
   6. Generalist background.
3. Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
   1. Experience of On-premise and Azure networking - Express Route, Azure Firewall, NSG's, VWAN etc.
   2. MS Intune and SCCM experience.
   3. IAC experience.
   4. Datacenter migrations and disaster recovery planning.
   5. Possession of relevant certifications.

   2. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
   3. Ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
   4. Proactive attitude and ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes.
