Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters across hybrid-cloud and virtualised environments.
• Define and implement best practices for scaling and security.
• Enable application delivery through GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to observability practices and incident response.

Skills

Kubernetes provisioning and lifecycle management

Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

Containerisation and orchestration with Docker

Cloud platforms – AWS and/or Azure

CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions)

GitOps workflows (e.g. ArgoCD)

Monitoring, logging and alerting with Prometheus

Scripting and automation in Python

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related field
