Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear invites applications for a Chemical and Process Engineering Degree Apprenticeship. Over four years you’ll work toward a BEng while contributing to nuclear power generation, decommissioning and defence projects.

Roles are based in Warrington with options to hubs in Bristol or Humberside. You’ll study with Teesside University and gain hands-on experience in designing, testing and improving process systems, developing leadership and professional skills along the way.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above including English and Chemistry.
• Maths GCSE at grade 6 (B) or above.
• A-level grades ABB or above, including Maths and Chemistry.
• Many of our programmes are subject to Security Clearance and Trade Control restrictions which may impact eligibility; BPSS and SC clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Apply core chemical engineering principles to real-world nuclear projects.
• Study remotely with Teesside University as part of the apprenticeship.
• Develop problem-solving, communication and engineering collaboration skills.
• Contribute to projects across civil and defence nuclear sectors.
