Job summary

The Travelers is seeking an experienced Casualty underwriting expert to join the Underwriting Office as a Technical Underwriting Specialist. You will shape strategies, analyse portfolios with BI/MI data, and lead updates to underwriting guidelines.

Collaboration with Product Development and Portfolio Managers will be key, along with training underwriters and supporting regulatory reporting. Hybrid work is available, with three days in the office and two at home.

Qualifications

• Proven underwriting experience in Property and Casualty.
• Strong knowledge of local insurance market and regulatory rules.
• Advanced technical underwriting knowledge with casualty/property emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor underwriting strategies reflecting market conditions.
• Analyse portfolios using BI/MI data from multiple sources.
