Job summary

RS Group is seeking a Junior Capex Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Corby. The role supports capital expenditure processing, reporting and control across the group in a hybrid work environment.

You will assist with month-end capex close, project data maintenance, and capex reporting while developing skills in SAP, Planview and OneStream within a multinational finance function.

Qualifications

• Studying towards, or willing to study towards, a recognised accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good understanding of core accounting principles, journals, accruals, reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Confident working with Excel and large data sets, including lookups, pivot tables and structured working files.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly capex close with journals, accruals and schedules.
• Maintain project master data and cost allocations in SAP/Planview/OneStream.
• Prepare capex reports and variance analysis for review.
• Assist with depreciation and fixed asset processes.
• Respond to routine finance queries from project managers.
