Job summary

Talan in London is seeking a talented C# Redis Developer to join a high-performing team on a hybrid basis, with three days on-site.

You will design and maintain distributed .NET services powering real-time P&L and risk analytics, collaborating with traders and quantitative teams across EMEA, NY, and APAC.

This role focuses on TDD, automation, and strong CS fundamentals, offering impact on critical financial systems in a global markets environment.

• Strong expertise in C# / .NET development.
• Experience with Redis Cluster.
• Solid understanding of TDD and automated testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining scalable .NET/C# services within a distributed streaming architecture
• Building and supporting real‑time data processing systems for P&L and risk analytics
• Working on out-of-process services, system integrations, and data materialisation layers
• Driving Agile best practices, including test‑driven development (TDD) and automation
• Collaborating with global teams across EMEA, NY, and APAC
• Taking ownership of features and proactively proposing improvements
• Troubleshooting issues and helping unblock cross‑team dependencies
