Service Care Solutions is seeking a Building Surveying Manager for a Local Authority in Suffolk. Based in Ipswich with hybrid working (2 days in office, 3 days at home), you will lead a team of Building Surveyors and remain technically involved in surveys, defects and remedial works.

The role combines ~⅔ management and ~⅓ technical surveying, handling housing disrepair, HHSRS, stock condition, and building regulations guidance. RICS desirable but not essential with strong housing experience.

Qualificações

• Experience in housing/housing asset management with senior or managerial duties.
• Knowledge of 29 HHSRS hazards and stock condition surveys.
• Understanding of Building Regulations and Building Control processes.
• Familiarity with Party Wall matters and CDM 2015 duties.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, support and develop a team of Building Surveyors and manage performance.
• Undertake/oversee surveys, inspections, defects and remedial works.
• Handle housing disrepair claims, damp and mould, and defects investigations.
• Conduct HHSRS assessments and stock condition surveys.
• Provide technical advice on Building Regulations and approvals.
• Manage Party Wall matters and CDM 2015 compliance.
• Support planned, cyclical and responsive maintenance programmes.
• Monitor workloads and escalate issues as needed.
