Interaction Recruitment is helping a well-established professional services firm in Cambridgeshire find a Bookkeeper. The role is hybrid and offers study support with progression opportunities.

You will manage bookkeeping for a varied client portfolio, process invoices, reconcile bank statements, prepare VAT returns, and maintain strong client relationships while working with the accounts team to deliver accurate financial information.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping within an accountancy practice or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud-based accounting software.
• Strong client-facing skills and organisation.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Managing the bookkeeping requirements for a portfolio of clients.
• Processing sales and purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Performing regular bank reconciliations.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Responding to client queries via telephone, email and in person.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
