Job summary

Client Server, based in London, is seeking a Backend Software Engineer with Python and AWS to design high-performance trading systems and cloud infrastructure used across Front, Middle and Back Office teams.

You will own projects end-to-end from architecture to deployment, driving DevOps, CI/CD and containerisation while collaborating with traders and technologists in a global bank's Asset Management division.

Qualifications

• Advanced backend Python development experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, DevOps, CI/CD and containerisation.
• Willingness for occasional front-end work.
• Experience owning end-to-end software delivery lifecycle.
• Background in Front Office trading environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance trading systems.
• Build cloud infrastructure supporting Front, Middle and Back Office.
• Collaborate with traders and business stakeholders to translate requirements.
