Job summary

Nexus in London seeks an experienced Azure-focused developer. You will design and implement solutions using C# or Java on Azure, integrate with data services, and manage ETL processes. You will work with REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, and BI tools in a hybrid, permanent role.

Required 4–6 years in related areas, strong Azure experience, and CS/SE degree. The role involves collaboration across IT & Communications, with partly remote work and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Eng or related field.
• 4–6 years in a related area with professional and tech capabilities.
• ≥4 years design/development on Azure platforms and related tools.
• Experience in pharma/finance/HR/sales/marketing/manufacturing domains preferred.
• GDPR, EDI (FHIR/HL7) exposure valuable.
• Azure certifications a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Azure integration tools and data storage services.
• Experience with MS Office, SharePoint Online, Power Apps, GitHub, MS Teams.
• Strong coding in C#, Java, JavaScript, Python or PowerShell.
• In-depth experience with REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, EDI, XSLT, Event-driven patterns.
• SQL Server with SSIS, T-SQL, procedures, views, datatype conversions.
• Understanding of cloud/on-prem integration architecture (BizTalk, MuleSoft etc.).
• Exception handling, alerts, dashboards, runbooks in operations.
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines experience.
• APIs/BI tools such as Postman/SOAPUI, D365, ServiceNow, Data Lake, Synapse.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions using C# or Java and Azure.
• Configure/integrate with Azure tools and related MS tech.
• Work with Azure data storage, APIs, ETL processes.
• Use Visual Studio with C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell.
• Handle serverless, SOAP/XML/REST/JSON/EDI, event triggers, and messaging patterns.
• Develop with MS SQL Server incl. SSIS, T-SQL, procedures, views.
• Support cloud and on-premises MS suite integrations and versioning.
• Maintain exception management and production support (alerts, dashboards).
• Work with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Engage with APIs, D365, ServiceNow, BI tools, Dataverse, Informatica as needed.
• Translate business requirements to tech and drive projects to completion in ambiguous environments.
