Job summary

gbpartnerships is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join the gbp Develop team, supporting the delivery of healthcare, refurbishment and development projects across the UK. You will work with Senior Managers, gain hands-on experience and contribute to projects for healthcare and retail clients.

The role offers hybrid working with two days per week on site in Crawley during the initial six months, plus benefits such as life insurance, pension contributions and 25 days leave.

Qualifications

• A degree or technical qualification in Project Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
• Good commercial awareness, with an interest in project delivery, budgets and financial management.
• Confidence building effective relationships with colleagues, clients and project stakeholders.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• A desire to learn, develop and build a long-term career in project management.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of healthcare construction and refurbishment projects.
• Coordinate project meetings, actions and key project documentation.
• Assist with project planning, procurement and stakeholder engagement.
• Track project budgets, invoices and financial performance.
• Support bid submissions and business development activities.
